Marble Healing Properties
Metamorphosed Calcite is known as Marble and is often used to adorn buildings. This rather soft gemstone comes in many colors, though gem grade is usually pure white. Marble is created when millions of marine creature's shells are accumulated and baked in the earth.
Mystical Properties: Because Marble is created by living creatures, many religious structures have been composed of marble and limestone and believed to mystically increase the power of prayer.

Healing Properties: Bone problems and disorders.
Scientific Properties: Composed of heated and compacted Calcium Carbonate. Dolomite, a form of calcite, is harder because some of the Ca ions are replaced by Magnesium during the metamorphic process. Dolomite is identified in the field as being heavier and darker (gray) in color. It also fizzes less readily. Found commonly throughout the world, famous locales include Italy. 3 on the Moh's Hardness Scale.
